Before you start
- You can redeem on the web at keepember.com/redeem from any device, or in the Android app. On iPhone and iPad, redeem on the web.
- You must be online — redemption happens on Ember's server.
- Have your Ember account email ready. On the web the code is applied to the account whose email you enter; in the app it applies to the account you are signed in to.
- Some codes are reserved for a single email address. If yours is, use that exact account.
Redeem on the web (iPhone, iPad, or any device)
- Open keepember.com/redeem in any browser. No sign-in is needed.
- Enter your code. Letters are capitalised automatically, so launch2026 and LAUNCH2026 are treated the same.
- Enter the email of your Ember account.
- Complete the quick human-verification check, then tap Redeem.
- You will see a confirmation on the page. Open Ember and your new tier is active (pull to refresh if needed).
Enter your code
Enter your code and Ember account email.
Using Apple sign-in? Copy the email from app Settings and paste it here.
Signed in with Apple and using a hidden email? Open Ember, go to Settings, tap your email to copy it, then paste it on the web page. That hidden address is your account email.
Redeem in the Android app
- Open the Settings tab.
- In the PLAN section, tap Enter promo code — the row with a ticket icon.
- Type or paste your code, then tap Apply.
- On success you will see You're in! and your new tier is active right away.
In-app code entry is available on Android. On iPhone and iPad, use the web page above.
What your code unlocks
A redeemed code grants Pro or Ultra for the period set on the code — for example a month or a year. Your tier and daily Ember Points jump to the new level immediately.
This is a complimentary grant, not a store subscription, so nothing auto-renews and you are never charged when it ends. Once the code expires, your account simply returns to Free (or to whatever paid plan you already have).
You can still subscribe to a paid plan any time before the code expires — open Settings → Plans to upgrade and keep your benefits running without a gap.
If your code will not apply
Ember shows a short message under the field when a code is rejected. Here is what each one means:
- "That code isn't valid." — Check for typos. The letter O is usually a zero, and codes never contain spaces.
- "This code has expired." — The offer window has closed and the code can no longer be used.
- "This code isn't active yet." — The offer has not started. Try again on the start date.
- "This code has reached its limit." — Every available redemption has already been claimed.
- "You've already used this code." — Each code works once per account; your earlier redemption still stands.
- "You've already used a promotion from a similar program." — You redeemed another code from the same offer family; only one per program counts.
- "You already have an active plan." — You are on a paid plan, and a code cannot stack on top of an active subscription.
- "This code is reserved for …" — It belongs to a specific email. Sign out, sign in with that account, then redeem.
- "We could not find an Ember account with that email." — On the web, the email must match your Ember account exactly. If you signed in with Apple, copy your email from the app Settings.
- "You're offline. Connect and try again." — Reconnect to Wi-Fi or mobile data and tap Apply again.
Still stuck? Email hi@keepember.com with the code and the message you saw, and we will sort it out.
On this page
Where do I find a promo code?
Codes come from Ember launch offers, partner promotions, or directly from the Ember team. Ember does not sell or generate codes inside the app — if you do not have one, there is nothing to enter.
Will I be charged when my promo period ends?
No. A promo code is a free grant with no card attached, so it never renews and never charges you. When it expires, your account returns to your previous plan.
Can I use a code while I am already a paid subscriber?
No — Ember shows "You already have an active plan." Codes unlock paid tiers, so they cannot be applied on top of a subscription you are already paying for.
The code is tied to someone else's email. Can I use it on my account?
If a code is reserved for a specific email, only that account can redeem it. Ask the sender to issue one for your address, or sign in with the account the code was meant for.
