EmberCreate your Ember account first
The code is locked to the email address of an existing Ember account. Sign up in the app first, and remember exactly which address you used. If you claim the code before signing up, the bot answers that it cannot find an account for that address.
Join the Discord server
Open keepember.com/community, which forwards you to the Ember server. You need a free Discord account. Once you are in, you can post in #help and #bug-reports.
Run the /pro-code command
Type /pro-code into the message box of any channel and pick the command from the list. A small private window opens and asks for one thing: your email address.
Enter your Ember email address
Type the exact address your Ember account uses, then submit. The bot replies only to you, and it shows the address partly hidden. Nobody else in the server sees your address or your code.
Open your inbox to get the code
The code never appears in Discord. It is sent to the mailbox instead, and that is on purpose: Discord cannot prove that you own the address you typed, so delivering the code by email is the step that proves it. Only the owner of that mailbox can read it.
Activate the code
Open the email and use the button inside, which takes you to the redeem page with the code and your address already filled in. You can also enter it by hand: on the web at keepember.com/redeem, or in the Android app under Settings, section PLANS, row Enter promo code.

Check that Pro is active
After a successful redeem, the Plans screen shows your current plan and the date the benefit ends. The code grants Ember Pro for 14 days.
One code per person
Each Discord account can claim one code, and each Ember account can receive one code. Claiming again returns a message saying it was already claimed. A code stays valid for 30 days from the moment it is issued, so redeem it before then.

The bot says it cannot find an account for my address. What now?
Sign up in the Ember app with that exact address first, then run /pro-code again. The bot only issues codes to addresses that already have an Ember account.
The code has not arrived in my inbox.
Check the spam folder. The email comes from hi@keepember.com. If it is still missing after a few minutes, ask in the #help channel.
Can I claim a second code with another Discord account?
No. The block works both ways: one code per Discord account and one code per Ember account.
What happens when the 14 days end?
Your account returns to the free plan. Nothing is charged and no payment method is needed for this code.
