Quests has eight categories: Getting started, Keeping a record, Habits, Finance, Keeper AI, Astrology and Tarot, Personalization, and Reach further. Reward tasks show their points; Discoveries help you explore without adding points. Open a card, read its introduction, then choose Do it now or the detailed guide.

The green Claim reward button only appears once you've opened that quest's detail sheet at least one time, so browse a category first if a reward isn't showing yet. Anything you already did before Quests existed still counts: Ember checks your real data, not just what happens from today.

What this quest is
Ember holds everything about one person: when you last met, what you talked about, what is still owed. Add someone close first and the rest of the app will make sense around them.
Reward
A few quests need the server to confirm
Opening a screen or its guide does not complete a task. Ember checks the saved result and asks the server to confirm rewards. Eligible existing data can count too. If the card is still pending, finish the action and return while online.

What this quest is

Reward
Category chests, the grand chest, and the 1,000-point wallet
Each category has one chest with its own required tasks. Discoveries do not count. Getting started still uses its six original tasks. The Finance chest requires your first expense, first subscription, and a custom subscription reminder. The grand chest still requires the six original category chests. Previously earned points stay in your Ember Points Extra wallet, which holds up to 1,000 points.

Reward
Two rewards that go beyond points
Invite a friend: once they download Ember and sign in on an eligible phone, you both get 100 Ember Points Extra, and inviting 5 friends unlocks a full month of Ember Pro. Worth a look, even without points
Discoveries include useful actions such as changing the Journal template, browsing Habit templates and statistics, reviewing Finance statistics, importing images where your plan allows it, opening calendars, and exploring Tarot. They have guides and shortcuts but no points or Claim reward button.

What this quest is
Arrange the prompts and sections you want to see when you start a new journal page.
Optional guides with no reward points. These do not affect chest progress.

I did that before Quests existed. Does it still count?
Yes. Ember checks your existing data, not just what you do after Quests launches, so opening that quest's card unlocks the reward for it.
Why don't I see the Claim reward button?
Claim reward only shows up once you've opened that quest's detail sheet at least one time. Tap the card first, and the button appears if the quest is really done.
I tapped I already did this and nothing happened.
A few quests need the server to catch up before it can confirm. Try again in a moment, and make sure you're online, since claiming needs a connection.
My Ember Points Extra wallet says it's full. Did I lose the reward?
No, the quest is still marked done. But while your wallet already holds 1,000 points, that quest's points aren't added on top. Spend some points first, and future rewards will add normally.
