Connect Ember to ChatGPT and Claude

Link your Ember CRM to ChatGPT or Claude so the assistant can answer questions about your relationships, upcoming dates and notes.

What the connector doesPro feature

The connector lets ChatGPT and Claude call Ember on your behalf. Once connected, the assistant only reaches the data groups you granted, and every write still needs your confirmation before it is saved.

Data access

Choose which data categories your AI assistant can use.

End-to-end encryption

Ember will temporarily unlock the data key on this device and send it over a secure connection so the verified assistant can read only the data categories you allow. Your passphrase never leaves this device.

You must enter it again for every connection, even when your data vault is unlocked.
Allow connection

Only type your sign-in details and your encryption passphrase on a page served from app.keepember.com, and never paste them into a chat message.

Every write action requires a confirmation step before anything is saved to Ember.

Security and encryptionPro feature

Your Ember data is end-to-end encrypted, so normally no one but you can read it. To let this assistant answer questions about your network, while this connection is active Ember keeps a copy of your data key on its servers and decrypts your data in passing on each request. Your data is sent to the assistant's provider under their privacy policy. Disconnect any time to delete that key.

Disconnect the connectorPro feature

  1. Remove the Ember connector on the ChatGPT or Claude website, in the same list where you created it.
  2. Or open Ember app settings and disconnect the AI assistant connector there.
  3. Disconnecting revokes the assistant's access permissions and deletes the session key for that connection.

Can I set this up from my phone?

Start in the connector settings of ChatGPT or Claude and paste https://keepember.com/mcp. Whether your account can create a connector depends on the assistant’s current plan and workspace settings.

What happens if I change my encryption passphrase in the app?

Your AI connections will be disconnected and must be connected again with the new passphrase. This is a security mechanism, and your data is not lost. Changing your normal sign-in password does not affect the connector.

Can the AI edit or delete data without asking me?

No. Every write action requires a confirmation step before anything is saved to Ember.

Which plan do I need?

You need Ember Pro or Ultra to use the AI Assistant Connector.
