Acceptance of terms

Using the Service means you agree to these Terms.

Service description

Ember is a personal CRM available as iOS and Android apps, with an AI assistant called Keeper and optional encrypted cloud sync.

Account requirements

• You must be at least 13 (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country). If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian’s consent to make purchases.
• Provide accurate information and keep your sign-in credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.

Subscription & billing

• Free: $0 forever — 20 contacts, 5 Ember Points / day, 5 active reminders.
• Pro: $9.99 / month or $79 / year (99,000₫ / month or 790,000₫ / year).
• Ultra: $19.99 / month or $179 / year (199,000₫ / month or 1,790,000₫ / year).
• Subscriptions are billed through Apple In-App Purchase (iOS) or Google Play Billing (Android) and auto-renew until cancelled.
• Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple or Google subscription settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
• Refunds are handled under Apple’s and Google’s standard policies. Prices may change with advance notice.

Ember Points

• Ember Points (EP) power the AI features. One AI query = one Point.
• Free: 5 EP / day. Pro: 100 EP / day. Ultra: 200 EP / day.
• Points reset every 24 hours and do not roll over.
• Points have no monetary value and cannot be transferred, refunded, or exchanged.

Reading tickets

• Reading tickets are optional one-time purchases made inside the Ember app on iOS or Android, billed through Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing. Packs hold 1, 5, or 10 tickets. Indicative prices are $1.99, $7.99, and $14.99 (49,000₫, 199,000₫, and 299,000₫ in Vietnam); the store shows the final price for your region before you confirm.
• One ticket opens one reading of one type for one person: Birth Chart (for a contact or a guest), Compatibility (each different question or relationship type uses one ticket), Numerology, Love Compatibility, Zodiac, Purple Star Astrology (Tử Vi, including all twelve palaces), BaZi, or Human Design. Changing the birth date or time creates a new Tử Vi reading, which needs a new ticket. Reopening a reading you have already unlocked does not use another ticket.
• Today’s Sky, Keeper, and the other AI features keep using Ember Points.
• The first time you buy each pack, we add bonus tickets equal to the number of tickets in that pack. Pro and Ultra accounts may also receive free tickets under a promotion in effect at the time; when a promotion applies, the app shows how many tickets you receive. We may change or end these promotions.
• Tickets do not expire. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money, transferred to another account, or sold. They belong to your Ember account, not to your Apple or Google account.
• Tickets are consumable purchases. We do not refund them outside Apple’s and Google’s refund policies. If a store refunds a ticket purchase, the tickets from that purchase may be removed from your balance.
• If you delete your account, tickets you have not used are deleted with it and cannot be recovered.
• Purchases made with a store test (sandbox) account are intended only for people testing Ember.
• App versions that support tickets use them for these readings; older versions keep using Ember Points until you update the app. The Ember web app does not sell tickets. Once the web app supports tickets, it will use the tickets already in your account; until then, it may keep using Ember Points for these readings. Buy tickets in the Ember app on iOS or Android.

Acceptable use

• No illegal content, and no data you have no right to keep.
• No harassment, spam, or scraping.
• No reverse engineering, and no reselling access.

User content

• You own the contacts, notes, and other content you create.
• You grant us only the limited license needed to store, process, and display your content to provide the Service.
• You can export and delete your data anytime from Settings.

Intellectual property

• The Ember name, logo, design, and code are the property of Vũ Đăng Công.
• No license is granted to copy, create derivatives, or redistribute them.

AI features (Keeper)

• Keeper’s answers are suggestions, not facts, and may be inaccurate or incomplete.
• You are responsible for verifying AI output before acting on it; it is not professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.
• Ember does not read your synced data (it is Row-Level-Security isolated) and does not use it to train AI models or for any purpose other than running the features you ask for. To run these features, only the context needed is sent to our third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Google Gemini, DeepSeek, and Anthropic Claude — detailed in the Privacy Policy) and processed under their own terms.

Disclaimers

• The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind.
• No warranty of uninterrupted, error-free, or virus-free operation.
• Best-effort uptime; no SLA at the current pricing tiers.

Limitation of liability

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability is capped at the amount you paid in the last 12 months.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data.

Termination

• You may terminate anytime via Settings → Data → Delete account.
• We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, with 30 days’ notice (immediately for fraud or abuse).
• Payment obligations, intellectual property, and the liability cap survive termination.

Governing law & disputes

• These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam.
• Disputes are resolved first through good-faith negotiation; if unresolved, by arbitration in Hanoi.

Changes to terms

We may update these Terms as Ember evolves. We will revise the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, give 30 days’ notice by email and an in-app banner.
