Today summary

Today brings your recent activity, reminders, important dates, a daily quote, and focused Keeper suggestions into one view.

The local overview remains useful even when the AI section cannot generate.

Open your Today summary

  1. Open the AI tab and tap the Your Today summary is waiting banner above the Keeper chat history.
  2. After you have viewed it, the same banner becomes View your Today summary again for the rest of the day.
  3. You can also open Today from its daily notification if you have chosen a reminder time.

Today combines recent relationship activity, reminders, important dates, a daily quote, and Keeper suggestions.

Read the daily overview

  • Activity: in the morning, the hero summarizes yesterday; after 12:01 local time, it reflects today.
  • Today's reminders: reminders due today, with a shortcut to the full reminders list.
  • Important dates coming up: the next seven days, including birthdays that may not have reminders yet.
  • Quote: a short relationship or reflection prompt for the day.

Act on Keeper suggestions

  1. Keeper can suggest up to three people who may be worth reaching out to, based on the current information in Ember.
  2. Use Log, Remind, Ask Keeper, Open contact, or the primary message action beneath a suggestion.
  3. A prefilled Keeper prompt is never sent automatically. Review it before sending or spending a point.
  4. Tap Do you want a different report? to save a standing direction for future summaries or rebuild today's summary.

Understand refreshes and Ember Points

  • Your first 3 successful AI summary generations in a rolling 24-hour window are free.
  • Each additional successful generation within that window costs 1 Ember Point.
  • Reopening the same saved summary does not generate a new one and does not spend a point.
  • If Keeper is offline, AI is disabled, or you are out of points, reminders and important dates remain available.

Only successful generations count toward the three free summaries. A failed attempt does not consume a free slot.

Choose a daily reminder time

  1. Tap the bell in the Today header, or choose Turn on smart reminders in the getting-started card.
  2. Enable the daily AI summary notification and choose the time you want Ember to remind you.
  3. Choosing No thanks hides only the getting-started suggestion; it does not turn off an existing notification setting.
